NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
These Official Contest Rules govern the "Fiscal Mania" skill-based contest (the "Contest"), sponsored by Brex LLC ("Brex," "we," "us," or "our"), with a business address of 650 S 500 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. By entering, you agree to these Official Contest Rules and to the decisions of Brex, which are final and binding in all respects.
The Contest is open to individuals who, at the time of entry, are (a) legal residents of the United States; and (b) at least 18 years of age. Employees of Brex and its affiliates, and their immediate family and household members are not eligible to win the Grand Prize or the SF Event Prize (each described below, and together, the “Prizes”). The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
The Contest begins on October 26, 2026 and the competition for the Grand Prize concludes on November 5, 2026 (the "Contest Period"). The game will be available for play only at the Brex pop-up in New York, NY on October 26, 2026, and at the Brex event in San Francisco, CA on November 5, 2026. A non-playable demo of the game and a Contest leaderboard will also be available on the Contest microsite at http://fiscalmania.brex.com/; however, competition for the Prizes is based solely on gameplay at the two in-person events.
To enter the Contest, an eligible participant registers through the game console at one of the events and plays the game. No purchase or entry fee is required. Participants may play as many times as they wish. During registration and as a pre-condition to play, participants will provide certain information such as name and email, and will be asked to agree to these Official Contest Rules and to a separate Official Contest Media/Likeness Release (see Section 8).
The Contest is a game of skill. The winners of the Prizes (described in Section 5 below) are determined solely by skill; specifically, the participants who complete the game fastest while avoiding the game's enemies across its levels, as measured and recorded by the game. In the event that two users tie on time, Brex will use overall game score to determine the single winner.
One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded to the single top-performing player across both the New York and San Francisco events, based on the best (fastest/enemy-avoiding) completion recorded during the Contest Period. The Grand Prize is a cash prize with a value of $1,500 USD, awarded in the form of a third-party administered gift card delivered by email. Gift cards are issued by a third-party provider and are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuing provider, including any expiration dates, fees, and redemption restrictions. Brex does not guarantee a specific gift card issuance date and shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party gift card providers. Brex is not responsible for the value, usability, or redemption of any third-party gift card after issuance. The value of the gift card may constitute taxable income to the winner under applicable federal, state, and local tax law. (See Section 7). Gift cards awarded under this Contest are non-transferable and may not be sold, exchanged, or redeemed for cash except as required by applicable law. The gift card has no cash surrender value.
Ten (10) additional prizes (the “SF Event Prizes”), each a commemorative statue of nominal value, will be awarded at the San Francisco event on November 5, 2026 to the ten (10) top-performing players at that event.
Total number of winners will be eleven (11): one (1) Grand Prize winner; in addition to ten (10) SF Event Prizes winners. Limit one prize per person. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged or substituted.
The Grand Prize winner will be announced on November 6, 2026 and notified via the email provided at registration. The Grand Prize (third-party administered gift card) will be delivered by email. The winner must claim the Grand Prize by responding to the winner notification email confirming receipt of the Grand Prize within seven (7) days of the email notification. If the Grand Prize is not claimed within seven (7) days, it will be forfeited and awarded to the next-highest-ranked eligible player. The ten (10) SF Event Prizes will be awarded in-person at the San Francisco event on November 5, 2026. If a winner of the SF Event Prizes does not claim their SF Event Prize during the event when it is presented, they forfeit it and the SF Event Prize will be awarded to the next-highest ranked eligible player who is in attendance and able to claim the SF Event Prize. No transfer/assignment of any prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by winners is permitted and shall not be honored.
All federal, state, and local taxes on any prize are the sole responsibility of the winners. The Grand Prize winner may be required to provide a completed IRS Form W-9, and Brex (or its parent or affiliates, e.g., Capital One, N.A.) may issue an IRS Form 1099 reflecting the prize value. Brex does not provide tax advice. The Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for any and all tax obligations arising from winning the gift card. Brex recommends that winners consult their own tax advisors regarding the tax treatment of this Contest.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BY PARTICIPATING, YOU RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS BREX AND ITS AFFILIATES FROM ANY CLAIMS, INJURIES, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONTEST OR ATTENDANCE AT THE EVENTS OR ACCEPTANCE OR USE OF ANY PRIZE.
